Accommodation
The hotel provides stylish bedrooms and suites overlooking the property’s grounds, surrounding countryside, and a self-contained lodge that exudes peace and tranquillity. Something memorable about the suites is that they’ve been named after notable Scots.

Rooms here are a comfortable and safe space for guests with a flatscreen tv and complimentary wi-fi to unwind in the evening. They are featuring Peter Reed 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen and deluxe Penhaligon’s Quercus toiletries.

Suite options

The Spa Junior Suites (527sq ft) have king-size beds and are on the first floor overlooking the hotel grounds. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and feature freestanding baths and steam showers.

Self-contained accommodation
The Gate Lodge is a one-bedroom house situated 1.3 km from the main house and features a living room with a fireplace and pull-out sofa bed, and a kitchen and spacious bathroom. There is parking available.

Restaurants
The Chez Roux Restaurant provides a high-end culinary experience set in the marvellous conservatory with views of both the grounds and the chefs working in the open kitchen.

Facilities
Cromlix has access to their private loch called House Loch, stocked with Brown Trout. There is an abundance of activities at the hotel ranging from tennis to archery to a falconry display; if you want to indulge, book one of the in-room spa treatments or the whisky tasting room.

History
Records of Cromlix date back to the 1500s when Robert Chisolm purchased the lands from his brother, the Bishop of Dunblane. The present-day house was built for Arthur Hay-Drummond, the son of the Earl of Kinnoul. The house remained the Hay-Drummonds' family home until the death of Evelyn in 1971.

From the 1980s onwards until its closure in February 2012, Cromlix was a luxury country house hotel. In February 2013, there was confirmation that famous tennis player Andy Murray had bought the property, and it opened back up as a luxury hotel in April of 2014.
