Meet and Greet London Heathrow and Tour of Windsor Castle (4-5 hrs)
Transatlantic flights tend to arrive early in the morning. Take your time to freshen up using the airport facilities, and your guide will be ready to assist with luggage and get you to Windsor Castle, a 25-minute drive from Heathrow.
You will likely be the first inside the gates, and our Windsor Castle accredited guides will introduce you to this giant palace and fortification. Strategically located Windsor is one day's march from the centre of London or 1 hour by car.
Go inside St George's Chapel, the magnificent place of worship and the last resting place of many Kings and Queens throughout the centuries. The incredible architecture is breathtaking and is a fine example of perpendicular gothic, the finale of English gothic design. See the tombs of Henry VIII, the creator of the Anglican church and probably more famous for having six wives. The Queen's father, King George VI and grandfather George V are interred in the Chapel, as are other members of Royalty from different centuries.
The state apartments are reassuringly grand and impressive. The collection of art features paintings by Rembrandt, Van Dyke and Peter Paul Rubens. You will see a vast china display and enormous rooms used to entertain heads of state. Take time to purchase some high-end souvenirs before taking a stroll through Windsor town.
Enjoy lunch at a traditional riverside pub before heading into London. You will arrive as your room becomes available, perfect for rest before dinner.

Meet and Greet London Heathrow and Tour of Hampton Court Palace
Meet your driver-guide in the terminal building and head south to the riverside Palace of Hampton Court.
Hampton Court is huge; the palace sits on six acres, surrounded by 60 acres of gardens and 750 acres of parkland hugging the banks of the River Thames. It is a place of several eras; there is Tudor, Baroque and Georgian elements to the structure, all connected by a series of courtyards and passages.
Your driver-guide will show you the highlights of each, telling you the tales of Henry VIII, William III and Queen Anne. It is a walk through history with paintings and rooms revealing significant moments in time. The active Chapel Royal is a colourful surprise, the place where Henry VIII learnt of Queen Catherine Howard's infidelity and sent her to the Tower.
The sixty acres of gardens are world-class and feature the stunning avenues of Yews, herbaceous borders, formal and Victorian gardens. Your guide will show you the Great Grape Vine, the largest in the world. At its peak, the single vine produced over 2000 lbs of grapes.
Enjoy lunch before heading into London. Get to your hotel for relaxation before your evening meal.
